Typical Tank Installation

General instructions for ION STICK installation into a tank are as follows. Locate an existing threaded fitting 1 ½" or larger, and screw in the ION STICK (a threaded flange may also be used). For ease of installation, wherever possible a 2" fitting should be used with a 2" x 1 ½" bushing. If no fitting is available, weld in a 2" threadolet. The bushing , should be started onto the ION STICK and made hand tight before insertion into the 2" fitting.

Note: Anytime a bushing is used, no matter the size, it should be a one-step type.
