Piping System Installation

To install the lON STICK into a piping system, either replace an elbow with a similar size threaded tee as illustrated or, in a welded system, weld in a threadolet (as illustrated).

Note:

1. When the lON STICK is to be installed directly into piping, the piping must be a minimum 3" diameter (if diameter is less than 3". A 3" tee housing must be used. See Fig. 2).

2. Do not install the lON STICK at the bottom of a vertical riser.

3. Make sure the lON STICK is not installed in a dead end.
